DAILY XC RENTAL: Unless government regulations prevent us, we expect to rent gear from the SJAM Winter Trail location only.

Sales Appointments

This fall at Fresh Air, we have seen unprecedented early season demand for cross-country ski equipment. As a staff we decided we were unwilling to compromise our standards of customer service or the safety of our community. Our solution is to offer sales appointment service to our customers.

Do I need an Appointment?

Recommended, but not required, for in-store shopping.

Priority will be given to customers with an appointment at all times. We have already experienced lineups in front of the store and would like to present you with an alternative. 

How to Make the Most of Your Visit

Compile the following for each family member/customer before arriving: 

  • weight, 
  • height, 
  • ability/fitness 

Be sure you know what binding system is required if you are looking to add to any existing equipment. (If you don't already know, photos of existing gear helps!) 

Consider browsing our website for products and learning materials to help you get a sense of what you need when you come in. If you decide to purchase online, know that we will hand-pick your equipment with the same care and expertise we provide our in-store customers.

Covid Safety Measures

At your appointment you can expect additional safety measures. We will provide you with a distanced workspace where you and one of our staff members will discuss your needs, separate from other shoppers. 

To help with social distancing, you will be required to stay in the assigned area and allow us to bring products to you.  

A face mask is required at all times. 

Hand sanitizer is provided.

Cancel or reschedule your appointment if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, are feeling unwell, or have any cold or flu symptoms. 

How to Book Sales Appointment

To book an appointment, simply click the green ‘Book a Sales Appointment’ button on our home page or below and select a time that works for you. To help us keep a safe number of customers in the store, select the option that best reflects the number of people who will be coming into the store, and the abilities of those who are shopping. Please only shop with those from your own household. Note that race ski selection appointments are reserved for racers. 

If you need to cancel, use the link provided in your confirmation email, or call us and we can help. We can not hold your place if you are more than 5 minutes late.
