Fresh Air Gatineau Loppet Waxing Service 2026 - Early Bird Price

Fresh Air Experience is excited to offer you the fastest wax on the course. Our wax service has been on the winning skis in the past!

SERVICE INCLUDES:

> Deep cleaning of glide zones with glide cleaner.
> Condition appropriate race paraffins or liquids layered for durability
> High end powder or liquid top coat as necessary
> For classic skis we will iron in a base binder. Skiers are responsible for marking their wax pocket prior to service.

Classic racers will be responsible for selecting and applying their own kick/grip wax. We will have our suggestion of SWIX waxes available at the Fresh Air Experience booth at the Loppet Expo on Saturday. We cannot apply kick/grip wax.

The cost is $100 Skate/$110 Classic. Pre purchase from our website before February 9th to save $20!

DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS - TWO LOCATIONS:

1. the Fresh Air Experience booth at the Gatineau Loppet Expo.
2. In Store at 1291 Wellington St West, Ottawa

Cut Off times

> Classic race cut-off: 5:30pm (17:00) Friday, February 13th.
> Skate race cut-off: 2pm (14:00) Saturday, February 14th.


Please label both skis with name, phone number, and race (eg SK51 or CL27)

Please ensure that your skis have no ski ties/straps on them, especially if they have sentimental value.

PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS - ONE LOCATION:

Your skis will be available at the Gatineau Loppet Expo only from 7am on the day of your race. This will provide those doing a distance event with ample time to get to their shuttle for 7:45. Skis will remain at the Fresh Air booth/tent for those participating in races later in the day.

No refunds can be issued once you have dropped your skis off to Fresh Air Experience.
