VAUHTI GF FLOUORINATED GRIP WAXES
This excellent performance of GF-Line fluorinated grip waxes comes from a revolutionary ingredient that reacts to temperature precisely. Thanks to this innovation, the risk of the grip wax icing in sub-zero temperatures is reduced considerably and the grip properties are exceptional. GF-Line grip waxes have wide operation range, which makes them a good choice also for recreational skiers.
GF RED GRIP WAX
Operating range: +2/-1°C | 36/30°F
Custom wax for 0°C conditions. Best in damp or variable, problematic conditions, at temperatures around 0°C, all snow types. GF RED can be used for coating klisters; it can also be mixed with other grip waxes.
GF SILVER GRIP WAX
Operating range: +1/-4°C | 34/25°F
A grip wax containing aluminium and usable in a especially wide range of weather conditions. Due to its viscosity, it can be used as a base wax for GF RED, for example. An excellent choice for conditions where the snow temperature clearly varies between just above and just below 0°C. On old snow, the wax can be used at temperatures down to -4°C.
GF PINK GRIP WAX
Operating range: 0/-5°C | 32/23°F
A special wax for new snow. Best in dry or variable new snow conditions. Softer content than in GF VIOLET gives better grip properties on soft track.
GF VIOLET GRIP WAX
Operating range: -1/-7°C
A wax developed for new, fine snow in mild winter conditions. With this grip wax, you will get over the difficult new snow (‘Violet’) conditions. The grip properties of GF VIOLET grip wax set in already at approx. -0.5/-1°C; owing to its new composition, the glide properties of GF VIOLET are considerably better as compared to the former violet-coloured grip waxes. This is most evident at temperatures -2°C and below. You can use GF VIOLET down to -5°C on new snow and -10°C on old snow without hindering its glide properties. There is no freezing risk regardless of the snow type. The performance is optimal in conditions where the lower sections of the track are near 0°C and the higher sections are clearly below 0°C.
Note! GF VIOLET is at its best on new or fine snow. For coarse snow and trails that are packed hard with snow (-3°C and colder), we recommend GD CARROT, which has been developed specifically for these conditions.
GF CARROT GRIP WAX
Operating range: -2/-12°C | 28/10°F
A viscous, all-purpose wax that sticks extremely well to your skis at sub-zero temperatures. Works best on old or coarse snow. The best gripping temperatures begin at approx. -2°C and extend down to approx. -12°C on a hard-packed trail. The wax can be used alone or as a base wax for other GF-Line products, for which it is an excellent choice. The wax is extremely wear-resistant.
GF BLUE GRIP WAX
Operating range: -5/-15°C | 23/5°F
Complementing grip wax for GF CARROT. Use if the snow is too fine for GF CARROT. Works best on fine and new snow, as well as on coarse snow, improving the glide of viscous grip waxes. Works in a wide range of conditions; on old snow, almost down to -20°C.
GF GREEN GRIP WAX
Operating range: -8/-20°C | 17.5/-4°F
An all-purpose wax for winter conditions. The wax can be used at temperatures beginning from approx. -6°C and all the way down to -20°C, if the snow is not completely fresh. Suitable for all snow types. If you want to maximise the durability and grip conditions, use GF CARROT as a base wax.
$24.00
Special grip waxes with extremely good gripping features developed especially for coarse and manmade snow conditions. The waxes are suitable to be applied as base waxes for coating other grip waxes and klisters. Or they can be used alone. All waxes of this series have great resistance to wearing off and the possess a wide operating range without the precise limits in temperature conditions of basic paraffin and fluor grip waxes. These temperature ranges are only recommendations. In general, wax with a thin layer because even a thin layer of TEHO Wax on the top of the basic grip wax increases significantly the grip of the lower wax. These waxes are at their best on coarse, granular snow and also on the machine-finished track where there is no new, fine-grained or loose snow. Because of the content of these waxes (a colloid which is extremely tough and glutinous) they are not suitable on new or fine-grained snow.

The VP-line is primarily designed for racers and ambitious non-racing individuals but can also be used by recreational skiers who wants the optimum skiing experience. Apply each layer thin – then smooth the surface with a synthetic cork (T12).
VP65 PRO BLACK/RED 0/+2C, 45G
For new and new fallen fine-grained snow from 0°C to 2°C (32°F to 36°F). Old/partly transformed snow from 0°C to -4°C (32°F to 25°F). Red/black kick wax with extraordinary properties when tricky conditions around the freezing point. Also brilliant on the cold side when high humidity and older/transformed snow. The black additive speaks for versatility and great anti-icing properties. VP65 works best on top of a couple of layers of a slightly harder wax. It also works great as a cover on top of klisters. Applying the wax when it is cold will ease the application process.
VP60 PRO VIOLET/RED -1/2, 45G
For new and new fallen fine-grained snow from 2°C to -1°C (36°F to 30°F). Old/partly transformed snow from -1°C to -4°C (34°F to 25°F). Purple-red kick wax works very well in moist new snow and shiny tracks. Will also work on older, slightly transformed snow some degrees below the freezing point. If tricky conditions around zero VP65 is recommended. The wax contains a new additive designed to impart maximum lubricity. This improves the stick-slip properties of the wax and gives an excellent feeling.
VP55 PRO VIOLET -2/1, 45G
For new and new fallen fine-grained snow from 1°C to -2°C (34°F to 28°F). Old/partly transformed snow from 0°C to -5°C (32°F to 23°F). Dark purple kick wax designed for moist, and new or new fallen snow around zero. Can also be used on older snow just below the freezing point without sacrificing glide. The wax contains a new additive designed to impart maximum lubricity. This improves the stick-slip properties of the wax and gives an excellent feeling.
VP45 PRO BLUE/VIOLET -5/-1, 45G
For new and new fallen fine-grained snow from -1°C to -5°C (30°F to 23°F). Old/partly transformed snow from -3°C to -8°C (27°F to 18°F). Purple-blue kick wax designed for normal winter conditions well below the freezing point. An obvious “next step” if VP40 does not provide a safe kick.
